Heard this story on FOX news.

Some Muslim families in Maryland asking public schools to accommodate their religion. Hmm last time I checked religions was not allowed in school, Now they want special praying times with prayer mats, what should they be allowed to interrupt classes so they can pray? do they want every muslim holiday off I mean geez you cant give them the whole friggen month off so they can do their Ramadan thing, you just cant do it. They want special menus for their diet, that I could live with. But the actaul practice of religion is not allowed in public school, and other religions dont get special treatment either, hell in some districts you cant have "christmas" partys, we dont interrupt classes to let Catholics have confession during 5th period. Religion should be kept out of the public schools, if you want special treatment because of your religion, then go to a religious school.
