Default Graphics problem...please help... - 11-26-2002, 02:34 PM

Ok, Here's my problem:

2 systems:

1. AMD 2000 GF4 1gig RAM WinXP pro and
2. P4 1.7 GF4 512k WinXP pro
Drivers:
40.71
40.72 beta
40.72 official
41.03 beta

30.82 official

SAME RESULTS ON BOTH systems:

The problem is with the transparency of the textures in certain areas of certain maps in MOH:Spearhead namely the water in the Gewitter map. You will see through the texture and this will create white and or black marks and streaks.

I can make the error appear every time by dropping the frame rate below 95/96fps! Yep, that does it every time and it doesn't matter what you do to lower the frame rate, the result is always the same.

NOW if I use the 30.82 drivers on either system the error doesn't happen!

With both drivers, including the 30.82's I will get the occasional texture flicker, in both directx and opengl games. This also happens on both systems and in the same places on both systems.

So, any ideas how to get post 30.82 drivers to work with out these errors on either system?
Also, anyway to eliminate the few minor errors I get with the 30.82s?

Thanks for the help!!

Best Regards,
Jordan
