Default How to make proper craters in MOHAA editor - 11-22-2002, 12:35 AM

I was wondering how you make good craters for a single player map.
Thanks

What exactly is the problem? A standard crater is created by just applying the "LOD terrain - Create from brush"-function in Mohradient to a "crater textured-brush". So if you want a state of the art-crater, you'll have to be more specific about want you want precisely.

Very looking forward to your single player map.

Thanks, I havn't tried this. I usually select the LOD terrain, create from brush and then I press "V" which bring up lots of purple dots, don't know where I got that idea from.
Thanks

errr...you're right about the purple dots, you have to lower or raise them in order to shape your own crater. In combination to a suitable texture things should work out just fine. Note that a terrain brush can only exist as a multiple of 512x512 brushes. See for instance http://www.briandhayes.com/tutorials/ra ... errain.htm.
