Why is it that "everyone" (US, Britan, etc.) hates communism?

exactly. Everyone would have to think the exact same way for evryone to be happy. And that just won't happen.

Its not the Idea of hating communist. its the Use of communism as a crutch that allows tyrannical rulers to come to power. Thats why communism is most often hated and associated with evil and evil ways.

And not only that people dont like having to have the same everything as everyone around them. What is there to work for. So people stop working hard and the country stops producing. usually resulting in chaotic streets which are often combated by over autoritarian rule where people are rounded up and shot in the streets to be made examples of.

Well the hard working dude deserves more food and crap but the other dude i would say would deserve more hand lotion to increase his arm strength.

I think the US does not so much hate communism as the fact that we feared a communist expansion throughout the world.
While on paper communism sounds tempting, it does not work and has led to dictatorships forming in comunist countries. Also communism would ruin the existing economy in the US.

Also, Stalin waas a pretty scary chap, he raised hell with the USSR's own people, so naturally the US was a little scared, we helped put on tyrannical nutcase out of business, having another would be bad.

I dont hate communism, its just that its leaders are corrupted by their absolute power. In theory, communism sounds nice, but would never work because humans are, in nature, greedy. Personally, I think capitalism is much better than communism regardless because I believe you have to work for what you get. If on the other hand, I see my neighbor struggling to survive I would of course, help him. But I dont like people telling me what to do, let alone share my things with. Communism isnt laziness, its just too idealistic in my opinion..
