compared to a geforce 2 mx 400 oOo: I have things to spend hundreds of $$ on than computer hardware.

go for it but invest in some ram sinks at a local shop with it. They work miracles on those cards. , even a pci slot cooler would help out alot to keep it running [H]ard.
