Camping is fun as hell. The probability of you getting injured on a camping trip is pretty slim (unless you do rock jumping and crazy stuff...)

Ya ive been camping forever and have never gotten injured, then again we dont really get too many tornados up here. But to get badly hurt while camp, under most circumstances you have to be a real idiot and making tapes for a JackAss audition

Possibly as its more of a "things americans are supposed to do before they get too old" kinda thing. I rarely hear of people go camping around here, over there however its done pretty regular, or so my cousin tells me.
