Menezes wasn't carrying a rucksack, or bag, or anything like that. Nor were there any "wires" or "assorted shit" anywhere on his person. Also, contrary to initial reports, he wasn't wearing a heavy padded jacket.

My apologies if my info was incorrect. My understanding of the situation was that he was wearing an unusually heavy coat for Summer, and on account of his occupation, had wires and the like protruding from a bag
