Maxwell House. Coffee should taste like coffee. Starbucks coffee tastes like it was sitting on the burner for two days - nasty stuff.

Too lazy for those, i use a good drip coffee machine, but genuine cuban coffee is pretty hard to beat.
If I go into a starbucks or something similar, I will almost always get a giant capecino. With cinimmon. mmmmmmm....

You got it good. All we have here is coffee flavoured hot water from vending machines. It has caffeine in it so it does it for me, but taste?
I prefer the chicken soup flavoured water, myself.

My hat's off to a guy who drinks VM coffee...that's a person who wants their caffeine, regardless of the delivery mechanism, and maybe prefers to drink something hot regardless of taste. IMHO, drinking VM coffee is about as enjoyable as injecting the stuff into my forehead with a turkey baster.
I find the bodum makes far superior coffee...you don't lose all the nice oils that a paper filter stops...and it's very easy to use. Dump in the grounds, fill with hot water, stir if needed, plunge, pour...bam, you have your Joe. I've already had too much today.

Coffee from Kona is probably the best i have ever had. Something about the High Acidity in the Volcanic soil produces a realy rich full flavored bean. If I can't get Kona coffee, I usually pick up Starbucks Espresso blend and double up the scoops and its pretty good too.

Starbucks is shit. They roast their coffee too dark. Take it from me, i work at Second Cup. The best coffee is San Augustin from Columbia.

I have the wire mesh filter for my drip machine although paper filters make cleanup much easier (for the lazy anyway.
