Piece of shit ed, ive seen a lot of it the only real new inclusion sems to be a button battering system when you tie up with an opponent to see who gets the move out. WMxix plays more or less exactly like no mercy, dragging oponents around the ring when you have em floored and stuff so you can get them in a submission hold. It now has a weight system so you wont see people like mysterio slamming people like big show.

Smackdown looks like the same old crap yet again. I really wonder why that game gets rated so highly and my only conclusion is its on the most popular system, the game is nothing but a button mashing fest from start to finish. Crap graphics crap pyro effects and crap gameplay, far too arcadey for my liking.

But id say you should check out that raw 2 trailer, that game looks fucking insane, and keep an eye out for the age old hogan routine in it. biggrin:

OMFG!11!

Ok heres why Smackdown kills No Mercy or whatever shit that other game is based on - create-a-wrestler, and storyline. Sorry but Smackdown does this best and that's why it ranks so high. WMXIX is just another fighting game to me without that shit. Yea it would be nice for some real grappling like that in WM, but I'll take the interactivity over all that shit anyday.

And I hated NO MERCY.

Create a wrestler is ok yeah, but the storyline thing gets old. All you're doing is playing rehashed storylines of wwe programming from the last year or so.

RAW 2 though has a totally new story mode, stealing belts and shit and a lot of backstage interactivity. IMO raw 2 is gonna blow xix and hctp outta the water both graphiccally and in gameplay. You just gotta look at that trailer and those vids to see how amazing it looks.

Actually....ACTUALLY...WWE writers are working on NEW storylines for HCTP. The only good thing I can see about the Xbox is that they can update content as they go along with the HD (if I understand how the XBOX works).

Well theres the ability to rip music from cd's and use it for created characters as well, im not 100% sure if you can use ripped music for already in game characters. RAW 3 when it comes is gonna have online play as well.

Its meant to be garcia but doesn;t sound like her at all. Im just blown away by the trailer really, the move animations are so improved over the original raw, never thought id see a game where you had hogan doing the old hulk up routie tottering about the ring shaking like he's epeleptic.
