Winproxy is only good for sharing web traffic (port80) Performance wise a software router/firewall is not a good choice. Winproxy can get too involved forwarding opening ports for services. I would recommend buying a hardware router and then opening the required ports.
You will get much better performance and have better control over your in/out traffic with a router ( lynksys, netgear, hell everyone’s making them now) . Now some games just don't like being restricted ports I know Delta Force had problems running multiple clients behind a firewall connecting to a Delta force server.

Also this game is a network resource hog. Unless your running a T! or OC3 (from work) then I don’t think it would be a good choice playing that many boxes from a cable/dsl connection

Good luck

Just reread your message. If your running a connection sharing program that is built into XP, that is not WinProxy. Your running a watered down version of WinProxy (very watered down version) I would recommend the hardware router. they are under a 100 bucks now and worth every penny
