Also... My bf1942 stopped working I can go into the game but when I load SP it crashes or freezes and the cursor on the screen disappears... same with MP

I had a similar problem with CoD. Have you got the most up-to-date Drivers for your video card? That was the problem for me. Got the newest drivers, and everything was tickety-boo biggrin:
