Try to understand my perspective, you are taking a famous British book and turning it into an American perspective. You did it with Peter Pan, Romeo & Juliet & now you're doing it with War of the Worlds, nothing is sacred.

Try to imagine what it would be like if Australia took 'Of Mice & Men & changed it around a lil so that the ozzy-lingo Lenny saved the world with his fuzzy wabbits & then maybe you will understand. This isn't about jealousy etc its about my culture being taken by hollywood & reproduced in a tacky, hollywood storyline. I mean wtf... Tom cruise?
