Usually just plug a vga>dvi connector on the monitor cable plug it in dvi port and go to the nvidia control panel to turn on the option for dual monitor mode. (assuming the second connection is dvi which it usually would be).

Usually you will need a "dongle" converting vga>dvi so you can plug it in, most video cards come with on vga connector and one dvi connector. Dunno if many cards come with 2 vga connectors which is the standard monitor connector.

The display i think you can select between showing the same thing on both screens or extending your desktop to the second monitor so you get more workspace basically.

I use my TV as a monitor but I cnat use both at the same time eek:
Nvidia cards with tv out enabled usually transfer the pic to the secondary display and leave the monitor blank, ati cards keep it on both displays with tv out.

obviously. Monitor resolution is 1024 or higher, while normal TV resolution is half of that at most. get an HD capable TV if you want it to be clearer.
