are over. Got news from the Doc that I have acid reflux, so no more beer or any alcohol except for vodka, which i despise the taste of. Anyone else have acid reflux (besides Ashlee Simpson )?

Yea I have a mild case of it. Went to a doc and he gave me some pills that have helped.

Pepperoni and soda are the main causes in my case.

I hardly ever drink soda, used to be like a can once a week, maybe every two weeks, and I have a problem. I have friends that drink a 20oz bottle every day for lunch and they have no problems oOo:

newt stfu... if the covering to your stomach is weak the acid can just come out at any time (causing irritation) after a period of time it can create a hole in your esophagus causing you to die...

You can get surgery to have the flap strenghtened. and you can go back to drinking, if you feel.

See, my stomach doesnt hurt, its my esophagus that is killing me, it feels like there are thumbtacks in there. I am not going under any surgery but I will consider pills like nexum.

its all connected, the acid goes as if you were throwing up, thats why it hurts, because its like you are throwing up but not really expelling any acid.
