still, there are some genuiune possesions as well. When people start floating above their beds, speaking ancient languages, and performing impossible contourtions, you got something goin on

I suppose there is credible evidence to support the fact that almost every law of physics was broken in these possessions?

No, not all "possessions". Im certain that most of the possesions were in fact mental illness, but the real ones involved stuff like that.

The real ones being...?

I'm sure "real" possesions that defy gravity and allow a head to spin 360 would be well documented somewhere, so, let's see them.

That movie was terrible...The book owns the living shit out of it. Guess it got whored down because it was on network tv and not cable.

I know that now, after Ive seen it dozens of times. But being 7 years old and watching it was a bad idea. Considering the fact that I watched "Pett Semetary" or w/e just 2 years later or so doesnt make it better.
Pet Semetary was fucked the first time I watched it. I was scared shitless.

I honestly thought you were joking at first haha...

hollywood has really got in your head... wow... no, nobody has EVER floated over their bed or done impossible contortions outside of movies... I'm sure some of these nutcases start rambling nonsensical stuff that some people might think is "some ancient language"... but its not... just a crazy person being crazy. I didnt know people even believed that type of shit was real... I guess nobody cares about evidence anymore...

Evidence goes out the window when faith is involved.

And since demons, and exorcims deal w/ what you believe ... you might think that if there is something so horrific like this, there must be something much better like adult heaven.

So are people better of not believing in anything? Joining Scientology - which is wackier than Jackson, or being an atheist (unsure of spelling)

I guess you would have to witness it yourself to believe it. I believe I've seen ghosts therefore I believe in spirits therefore I believe in exorcisms, even though I've never seen one.

I also believe in Aliens, so that makes me weird to some.

My dad was telling me that suppossedly my grandmothers sister, while they were still in Ireland, had the same thing happen to her. My dad also said, from the commercial we had just see a couple seconds before he mentioned it, that the movie exaggerated it - he told me, from what he remembers his grandmother remembering, that she was constantly having seizures and screaming, so they took her to the Catholic priest, and thats about the whole story I got out of him.

Pretty freaky stuff.

Oh man, I saw it last night... What a lame movie. It's not the story of an exorcism, it's bascially a courtroom drama about this thread. One side was trying to prove that it was demons, the other that it was a mental disease. The stuff you see in the trailers are just flashbacks during the court case.

I feel so ripped off...
