I'm sure there is still an active communist part in Russia right now, this would probably give them a lot more power. -Is communism even the enemy still?

Communism really was never the enemy, it was just an excuse to call the USSR an enemy. And vice versa.

here's my inane theory: This pact is made, then Nato and the east nato merge together to become one powerful world government. then the apocalypse happens. There is a belief that the world will end after a world government is formed and the head of that world government is supposed to be the anti-christ. Of course its just a theory
