r3mix is Offline Senior Member Posts: 896 Join Date: Apr 2002 Location: Oz	09-01-2002, 09:58 PM forwarding those ports is a workaround for a modem/router that uses NAT. what if my adsl modem does not use NAT and the ports work this way to start with? i can get my running server accessable from the net is there anything i can do? i dont know anything about this DHCP stuff so is it something there? if you have any help i would really appreciate it i am tearing my hair out over this. r3mix
