I wish they'd make the role of tank driver and gunner two different guys, it's difficult to see which way the hull is pointed after you moved the turret a lot. Also driver needs to shoot bow MG (to give extra MG)

u know what omaha is gonna be like? it's gonna have like 3 b-17 bombers flying over axis infantry and thier bunkers bombing the crap out of them, while the landing crafts are still safely attached to the destroyer or carrier.

No....there aren't going to be any planes in Omaha. The only ship will be one Allied Destroyer with the landing craft attached to it.

what do you mean? there is a machine gunner on the tank, and a turret gunner, along with an extra machine gun you can use by right clicking (while inside the turret). if i understood you correctly, you are having problems distinguishing your position in the first person view. use the HUD icon on the bottom center of your screen to tell your position.

use the HUD guys...its very well organized and it gives a shitload of information.

and, germ, thats not so unrealistic. for omaha, yes. for utah, no (although im not sure if b-17s were used at the time.) and of course, people are going to make it up the beach by LCVP, or attempt to anyways.

i just had a practice with my clan AFF for bf42. if they dont fix this game i quit. this game is horrible. i had someone standing still not moving.. 4 sniper shots perfectly on him... nothing. he turns around and in 4 shots im dead from a machine gun.

well, im guessing you knew how to compensate bullet drop and the fact that it takes time to get to your target. it isnt as uber easy as mohaa.

actually there were planes at Omaha, except the B-17s unloaded too far inland and killed a bunch of farm animals (of course from what I've seen in the demo, that's how bad people's aim will be anyway)

at omaha too? i thought it was utah...or, at least the majority were at utah.

if im not mistaken, their purpose was to create bomb craters for the men to use as cover. not to mention bomb the fuck out of the german defensive line

you REALLY have to lead your target. i know...you are probably saying "i do, you dumbass" well, lead them more, or try anyways. if all else fails, grab a machine gun. if that fails, grab some explosives.

by the way..i thought you were a member of the AFF navy anyways

Well I'll wait until the full version comes out here in the UK before I judge BF1942, but I have to admit that the demo's quite impressive/refreshing.
