whatever happens when she gets back happens, i worded it wrong earlier when i said "she hints towards us getting back together" its more like we had such a long relationship and are friends first of all that its hard to ignore anything between us when she will come back, and im not falling out of contact with her because she phones me weekly and wants to still, so im caught in a loop.

I'm in a similar situation, kinda....
You have to sever all ties tho to truly move on. Like deleting friendships on websites (myspace, etc), old presents and phone numbers if you can. Of course thats easier said than done mate and since you've been friends from the beginning, only you know how to deal with that..

My problem is that my younger girlfriend has totally and utterly fallen for me and I'm finding it extremely difficult to tell her how I feel as I know I will break her heart. I don't feel as strongly for her as she does for me and its just not fair on the whole relationship.
I basically plan on seeing her for the next 2-3 months but I'm unsure how I can cope until then. She is going away to Vancouver, Canada for 4-5 weeks in June and so I really have to sort my head out. My sister wants to meet her, etc so its just one big mess in my head right now....
I'll also be moving to a new flat this Sept for uni so that complicates things even more.......

She sees me as her perfect guy, but I don't see her as my perfect girl. I have to tread so carefully with everything I say and thats not how r'ships should be.

not going to sever all ties, too hard and its more than just that "can we be friends though" situation. Once she is back the least that will happen is that we will be friends and we will fuck alot, which I dont mind. I think although this is my reaction now of jealousy and being upset - someone said it perfectly earlier, im too young to put all my eggs all into one basket already and i cant do this long relationship shit until im older.

What I've learnt is this is the age you should be care-free really, yes you'll meet/date some killer girls who have everything going for them, but you should never put all your efforts into it. In the back of most early 20s people is 'there could be something better just around the corner' so most don't commit to anything. Yeah you get the morons who get married at 19 but truthfully how many of those do you know lasted longer than a year...

Keep all of your reserved awesomeness for girls at ages 25+ and then you can go the whole way if you both feel its right. As for ages 19-25, just have fun and even go the fluffy bunny route and get all yer women on a conveyor belt (yo sushi! style)
