Not exactly hard to find stuff to make sony "seem bad". Ever notice sony always blab about 2 things, how many consoles they've shipped (shipped not sold) and their "games library". Gets me wondering how many "shipped consoles" are replacements because of that convenient dvd lens failure that just happens to plague sony consoles, funny how nintendo bring out one disc based system and don't have that problem....probably not made to break in x amount of days for one. As for the games library.. rolleyes: enough said, ps1 was plagued with shite games, go through 100 ps1 games and you'd be lucky finding 10 that were good.
And if you had actually read that article you would see that even capcom say the ps series seems to be made to break. |
MGS1. FF 7-9. GT 1-2. Spyro 1-2. Crash 1. Toshinden. Vagrant Story. RE 1-3. Dino Crisis. Tenchu 1-2. Fear Effect 1-2 (highly overlooked games). Smackdown Games. First GTA. Etc. etc. etc. If you cant find em - youre not looking -
Of course shit games were produced for the PS1 - people were/are buying them. |

the "only" good games for PS1 outnumbers the number of good games that ive seen come out in those years by PC, nintendo, sega and microsoft platforms (even though during ps1 xbox dind't exist but just saying)

Forgot about those. I remember picking MOH up on a Sunday after reading about it in PSX magazine. Got MOHU right when it came out. That tank battle in the middle of the square in MOHU was kick ass.
The Oddworld games were excellent too. Suprisingly the series took a shit when it went to. . .wait for it - the XBOX. Word. |
