Don't listen to him. all you need to do is port fowarding.

You need to set acces so that 12203 -12300 goes to your ip address of your computer
for instance when someone tries to connect to 66.158.44.123 it should be redirected to your ip such as 192.168.1.112
I am hosting AK Cheeseburger server through a router
so i know it works

have fun

Are you serious? oOo: You have to foreward the ports that MOHAA uses so the outside world can see the server. Otherwise, you put the box in the DMZ so all ports are open, but disable the DMZ once you are done. mohadmin.com has guides for this.

Default Linksys - 04-11-2003, 03:29 PM

I have a linksys router as well. I made it a dmz host and then people could join my server through gamespy. It was short lived though. It would kick them after a min or so every damn time. Had a Siemens router and DMZ never did work on that POS.
