Extract pak0 and go into the folder called ui. In there find the files names hud_ammo_gun.urc, when gun is the name of the gun. There's a line in each section of the files that looks like "fgcolor 1.00 1.00 1.00 1.00" but with different numbers. The numbers are percentages of the three primary colors. 1.00 is 100%, 0.00 is 0%. Feel free to mix and match to get the color you want. The numbers, in order, mean red, green, blue and alpha (transparency). The higher the number, the more vibrant the color. In terms of the alpha channel, the lower the number, the clearer it will be.
If you want to continue editing the colors, open hud_health, hud_score, and any other file that starts with hud_ and change the colors to what you want.
I hope that was of use.

This isn't hard, just takes a while to go through all of the files. Here, I'll break it down into steps for you, to make it seem less complicated.
1) Open your MOHAA/main folder, right-click pak0 amd open with Winzip. Then arrange the files by name, and scroll to where the names begin with "hud_".
2) Open one hud_ file with Notepad (or another text editor) and look for a line that looks like "fgcolor 1.00 1.00 1.00 1.00", but with different numbers.
3) Replace the numbers with ones you want. Silver would be pretty much an equal number for the first three numbers (maybe 0.60?) and maybe 0.80 for the last number. Keep in mind that this will be gray and probably hard to see, but silver would be really hard, if not impossible.
4) Save the file as a urc file (select 'all files' from the drop-down list, then add .urc to the end of the filename) in a folder on the desktop.
5) Edit any other hud_ files you want in the same way. If you want everything the same color, you can simply copy the line and then paste it whenever you see the original fgcolor line. Save these the same way.
6) When you're done editing, put all of the files you put on the desktop into a folder called ui. Then, put that folder into your MOHAA/main folder.

Boy are u dense my friend. He said 1.00 is 100% on each. Red,Green,Blue!!! thats what the first-second-and third numbers are! The last number is for transparency!!!!! So if you want to make it bright red Change the first number to 1.00 and the other two #'s to 0.00.
Also you can change the ammo colors using the same method he showed you.
