STARTING SNIPER ONLY LADDER. NEED AS MANY CLANS AS POSSIBLE!

Well the 84th has been thinking about starting a sniper only ladder for awhile. We finally worked out the details and want to know what clans would be interested. There are currently 4 clans that are definitely in it. We need more to really get this thing going. The basis for the ladder is coming from OGL and TWL.

There will be 2 rounds. Each clan will pick a map. Each map will last for 20 minutes. The overall kill amount wins. Meaning if one clan wins the first round and 2nd wins the second round the kills will be added and whoever had the most overall kills will be the winner.

The clan does not have to be a sniper only clan. It could have a sniper division or just a group of people willing to snipe.

Each match will be either a 4 vs 4 or a 5 vs 5. That is up to the 2 clans to decide.

Clans will challenge each other. That's how it works. The clan challenging is the clan that will hold the match on their server.

There are going to be admins of the ladder. If there are any discrepancies they will be the final decision. As of right now there are no final decisions as to who the admins will be.

Leaning is to be kept to a minimum. If any of you have played on the 84th server you know no leaning at all is allowed. You can say what you want about that biggrin: but this rule will not be used in matches. An occasional wobble will be fine but no continual leaning will be allowed. When the expansion comes out this problem will be taken care of so you should get used to it now.

I took your ideas? How so? How the map sequence is going to go? biggrin: I'm not excluding you. I don't like certain things 'surrounding' NOTF right now and I don't want anything to do with that. Once I know for sure that those certain things are taken care then by all means join up dude. Nothing against you personally BTW.

no leaning? eek: if u have a sniper tournament u have to keep leaning in. leaning is part of sniping, u just cant take it away. sorry to be stubborn but if u take out leaning, then forget waffen. also.. also i think 4 on 4 is a bit big... just my opinion on the matter. also would there be any anti-camping rules or would it just be who can sit out the longest?

Very good points, one of which I addressed. Leaning will be allowed just not continual. Occasional wobbling will be fine. 4 vs 4 has worked out very well in the past and has kept the match going very fast paced. Anti camping is a for sure. At no point in time can you stay in one area for more than 10-20 seconds. Many argue that you aren't 'sniping' if you don't camp. I completely disagree.
