I would have to disagree. If pushing 2 buttons repeatedly very quickly is skill then I'm amazing biggrin:. A little leaning is OK. What are you pro leaning peeps going to do when the expansion comes out? I know that it's up to the server admin but you have to assume a majority of the servers won't allow it. Then what?

Great Super! You are actually counted as one of my 'for sure' clans. I had talked with Sniper about this before vacation and he's down with it. Spread the word along in the MSC crew-DaK

I have a question that hasnt been addressed. will pistols be allowed? I know there is a huge difference between the quality of the colt and the german pistol and also you might just have people pistoling eachother instead of sniping.

DaK lol I told you when we had our discussion, a lot of "good clans" lean, a lot of "good players" lean. A lot dont as well, but you can count a lot of clans out if you hinder a part of the game that is there. I mean is strafing done in real life? Hell no! So please if you want to make this work, try to look at all the other ladders, base around what players want and not how some sniper only servers do it. BTW most servers I assume will keep leaning in the game biggrin:

Only my opinion, but im with Kaos on this one, o btw Kaos is one of the best clans, so is WaffenSS, so is NOTF, all good clans... so maybe you should ask people what they want and not what one or two clans. Then base your rules around that. My opinion eek:

glorys right on that one. i think u should base ur rules on opinions of everyone, not just how u personally run ur server, or on top clans. i dont think i could do a wobble here wobble there. i have adapted to pure leaning (non binded btw), and i think taking that away will ruin mine, and alot of other peoples ability to play as well as they usually do. i do like the anti camipng rules

My opinion on the leaning has been stated. I'm more than willing to listen to what others say. Glory you always seemed to think that 'top' clans that snipe don't lean continually. Now all of a sudden a change of heart? Explain that please.

I'm not a big fan of pistols. Once again that is my opinion I'm more than willing to hear what others have to say. By all means come to the 84th server and you can all see what mods are used pistol and nade wise.

Main 84th server:
[84thUSMC]SNIPERS ONLY *DED* 2 PVT SLOTS

IP:
64.94.44.216:12203

This is what we run. That won't necessarily be what will be used. Let me know what everyone thinks. -DaK

What I actually said was in match play, the snipers roll is different. Also considering most sniper servers are FFA it seems more individuals lean. When I play in matches, most snipers set up shop in a position and snipe, they dont run around like a chicken with its head cut off in a lot of these FFA servers. So sorry if you misunderstood but when you play ladder matches its a whole nother ball game, trust me.

But honestly if you want to have the best clans compete I suggest you listen to the community and keep personal feeling/ opinions out of it. Not saying that is what your doing.

Another note: I suggest having the team who is challenged be able to host first map on their server or the whole map, thats how it normally works on most ladders.

From what i have read when Spearhead comes out the server will have the option to lean and move.So what would everyone think if thats how we left it,since the clan challenging holds the match on their server then you would go by how they set it up.This would all be discussed prior to the match between the two clans. That would be fair, the clans that are not use to or do not lean will still have matches on servers that use leaning and vise versa. Spearhead will be out soon and that could change alot.I myself(and this is an opinion) dislike lean straffing, I chose a world war 2 game for more realism, if I wanted lean straffing and people binding keys like that I would be playing Unreal or something like that, it just looks wrong when someone is running at you like that.I thought that was one of the major flaws in the game and it seems alot others did too since it fixes that in Spearhead.

Ok first one thing you guys are not taking into account is that not every clan will be playing Spearhead, also what are you doing making a Spearhead ladder or MOH:AA, other ladders I know will make a seperate ladder for both so I mean, thats something you need to think about cause things seem really confused on your side right now. Also how will the ladder rungs and such work, how do team challenge, how often can they challenge and how many clans will compete. Spearhead is seperate from MOH:AA man, the ladders will be different and not every server will change to SH, so maybe you guys need to take few more things into account.

BTW, I think you guys need to decide, leaning or no if your going to make a SH ladder, because it will only create conflict in between clans if it is up to one clan to decide. Thats like being on a ladder and allowing one team to decide how many weapons you can use or how many you cant. Same with friendly fire, off or on? You cant leave all that up to the clans you need to have this thing as organized as possible or you will have a lot of conlict matches on your hands....

AIDOS!
