I read somewhere that x-box no matter how good it will be, it will not be upgradable and will be obsolete in a few months, not my opinion somthen I read, so you might want to look into that

Yuck, XBox. I started out liking the idea, but I won't be buying one now. I just get kind of skittish when thinking about consoles. I mean, 1GHZ computers are pretty cheap...900 and even less if you look around.

*shrugs*

Damn right, and a PC will last you longer than a console without a doubt, and PC games are better

and if your gonna buy a console, get a PS2, their much better than Xbox, and PS2 is gonna have keyboard and mouse, aswell as harddrive, so you cant really go wrong there.

I agree that it's good that consoles are getting into multiplay. My issue is the added hard-drive/mouse/keyboard. With all of these it's just another computer that needs upgrading and such, this pretty much defeats the entire purpose of the console and just makes it a computer that can only play games (not used for work, school, etc.).

Yeah, but it can be a real B*tch to move an entire computer to your friends house!

That seems a little pointless to me, it's just like having another computer. Sony is trying to make their console compete with the PC, but the only way it can is to become a PC.
