I agree. I'm sorry, but I think the DOA weapons mod is the most fair for both sides. No one has an advantage. Even the smg's kill good. Once you get used to it, you'll see that the weapons are very even. We had a ton of visitors on our server that told us it was the best mod they played. I don't like the arcade play and the CKR needs work. I bet others would donate too if you changed to DOA mod.
I love the DOA weapons mod, except for the changes to the M1. I dunno, maybe it's just my crappy aim, but I find the garand less accurate. Is that accuracy tweaked in the mod, or am I delusional?
The other thing I don't like are the sniper rifle's damage. That seems a little stupid to me. An example using smileys:

We did alot of tweaks as we went along, so the end result was better. And the sniper rifle uses the same bullet as bar and Garand. Why should it kill with one shot?? You all ready have an advantage with a scope. One shot to head will kill... a sniper should be a marksman. If you hit someone anywhere else, they lose 80% health. Thats pretty hard hitting for one shot.

I don't know I'm kind of partial to CKR. we have also done some tweaks. Strik0rs "squint mod" this is what I'm calling it. It brings the BF42 rifle zoom to MOH very tastefully done. Also the 2 pistol whips and your dead mod- forgot who did that one. Possibly Redsoccer.

I think the Mauser glitch was fixed in our latest tweaking. Do the smg's work as well as STG/bar in CKR? In DOA mod they do. I just like how Allied and Axis weapons are equal in our mod.

Has anyone noticed that the {MOB} mod is pretty much the same as the
=[DOA]= mod? I think we need to get our server back up, everyone was willing to pitch in money so why not do it?
I think there are more differences between the [DOA] and {MOB}
mods than there are simularituies.
My mod is pretty much straight CKR with each weapon being the average of its weapon class.
ie..
Split the difference of the CKR smg's and you have the new setting for both smg's.
The weapons in each class are exactly alike.
We have had a few people who didn't like it because the weapons were no longer realistic. Although most people who have tried it, liked it. Neither side has a weapon advantage. It now all comes down to skill.
i like the MOB realism everynow and then, for a chanage. Two pistol whips and your Dead, I gotta play on the aa.com server more often. I was getting used to shotting them once in the ass, and then two whips.
