I have XP Pro and it works fine for me, and my friend has XP and his works fine.

YOUNGY I HAD PROBS WITH IT ONLY WITH OPENGL WHICH WAS CURED BY GETTING A GOOD GRAPHICS CARD BUT THAT IS THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF HOP IT WORKS M8

XP pro here without any problems. Just remember that the default drivers are not going to run this game. All you have to do is get the latest drivers from your cards web site and you should be all set.
Good luck XP has a bunch of nice features over win9x
