Those people actually LIKE WWII online (aka the electronic money vacuum)????

and where's IL-2?
it's undoubtedly the best WWII flight sim (can't wait for their expansion and hope they make Western and Pacific front games)

Hey Sgt Stryker

I've been looking at IL-2. How is that flight sim. The best part of BF is flying IMO. and would love a game where flying is it's main theme.

does it require learning a 300 page manual to fly? just curious not that I will have time for another game and 3 web sites and 1 dedicated server. I think I also have a family around here somewhere?

The difficulty/realism depends on how many options you select.
With less of the ultra-hard option selected you should be able to fly OK if you have previously played any flight sim.
The instruction book is pretty short and most of it is historical background.
Since this is a WWII sim, you basically need to know what buttons to push and a few aerobatic manuvers (unlike modern day sims where you have a shitload of electronic crap to figure out: radar, FLIR, smart bombs, etc)

IMHO the graphics are great and the AI is better that Janes WWII fighters (ie. they do more than play "chicken" with you)

I voted for MOHAA because it is the best, but the problemwith that kind of poll is that the site it is being hosted on is a WWII site, so most of the people there will vote for it, just like MOHAA would dominate(and rightfully so) on a poll like that here on AA.com. IT would be really cool if we could get enough people to vote over there to get a good percentage of the vote, so everyone vote and try to crash their party!
