Think of it, if no one is allowed to own guns and the only way to shoot guns is to join the armed forces; the military would get the attention it needs. Mr. Chretien would most likely put more money into the military and we could invade some country..... they'd never see it coming. CANADA..... The peaceful country that just snapped.
