Spearhead Problem -

I didnt notice anyone posting this but did anyone have a problem after joining a server that no one was moving and you couldnt join a side?
Just wondering if there is anyway to fix that, beside restarting the server.

It's a glitchity-glitch. Try to avoid any servers with an IP starting with 24.XXX.XXX.XXX, these are Cable connections. Also, avoid the EA official servers, they do this often, too.

mostly your helpful but sometimes you say the dumbest crap.why avoid cable servers?? i run a 10 player server that runs without lag.all the regulars show up every night and have a great time.its not the cable.its the computer backin up the cable.you cant run a server with a crap computer.maybe you tried i dont know.there aint a thing wrong with a server runnin on cable.i even have all the maps modded and it still runs fine.so watch the bad advise to the new guys.BUTCHER

Well, i just got the demo & so far out of three servers i've tried I log on, join a team & then it's like no mouse look, looking at the ground, no wep, can move forward & back but that's it.. Not impressed. In fact I'm FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, had to yell that at the top of my lungs...
I might just have to visit the ea forums with my flamethrower: GRRRRR...

A few probs -

Had quite an adventure using the demo.
Once I got into a server -- after a dozen or so tries, got to take two steps then demo crashed, no warning back to desktop.
Got back in, and must have been on one of those 'fast' servers because people were moving around like they were on Jolt cola (without the accompanying seizures and involuntary bowel movements evil: )
Lag made shooting a real adventure, I preforated the walls, floor and my teammates shooting at the frame-skipping creatures that promptly bashed my skull in. Nothing like emptying a clip at someone only to be bitch-slapped into oblivion. Arrg.
That aside, fairly free from too many bugs, certainly nothing like BF1942's single player demo that for sure. Gameplay going to require a bit of retooling, but given I was never very good anyway, it could only mean an improvement.
Say, everything I've read says Spearhead came out today, Nov 12th. Can' t find it on a shelf anywhere though. Is it true that SDK not due to Xmas? Know if there are plans for Linux?
Thanx

Well I have had the frozen server thing too. But I think it has something to do with the in game server list. Every time I join on on there it happens. I haven't had much trouble with the servers listed on gamespy though. Cept maybe the official ones.
