I know all this stuff has been said before but we were in a clanmatch lastnight and got wasted, but funny things were happening like not shoot through walls but they knew we were there, the best thing after the game we went to there server and watched in spec and they were looking and following nothing, honest they knew what they were following and looking for and on the hunt i was hiding but instead of going for the bomb he came looking and right away he found me, now this isnt me but if there is something out there like real glow through wall skins i need to put a stop to it on our server, please help, not intrested in where you get it but to stop it.

Many thx oOo:

Well the thing you said about not going to the bomb and going to you is what any experienced player would do. You have to take out all the opponents first unless you know the only one is far away. There are not that many places to hide at the Hunt once you place the bomb, and he probably knew every one of them. As for knowing where you are the entire time, when you play mohaa for a long time you just can anticipate that people will be constantly walking around corners. I'm not saying you are lying, but there are Very experienced players out there who have been playing mohaa 24/7 since day 1. Those are the 1337.

Deadbolt is right. I have played for a while and have developed tatics that I still use. I dont cheat, but you can anticipate moves on others by playing long enough. If you are wondering how they find you so often, check to see if you are to predictable or they are having someone spectate on you (hit Tab in the game).

The above replies are correct, I have done it also, there are a few places I always check to see if people are hiding. As for them cheating in matches there is really not much you can do to prove it or do about it. Sucks to say but its true.

But if you really want to know if there using the glow skins or a wall hack, the best way to do that is it go get a wall hack yourself. After getting one ( do not use it in matches or when playing) when ever you suspect someone of using something like that turn on your hack and spec them. Most people give it away when they use them. I have one and use it when specing on our server to keep an eye out for the ones that use them. After a while you can tell pretty quick when someone is and is not using a wall hack or glow skins. Don't say anything to them just ban em, it will save you a lot of trouble.

On a side note you will also be suprised at how many good players do not use them or hide it very well if they are. I know a couple of people that post here that until I watched them I always thought they cheated, turned out they are just that good.

Ok first let me say, there are entire websites and forums on how to cheat for every computer game including MOHAA. Now its tough to tell if someone is cheating or actually really good. I agree with you it sounds like they could of used a "no wall hack" or "no fog hack", or they could be really skilled. Couple of things you can do:

Make sure there server is running in the sv_pure mode
You can request screenshots by the team to be sent to your ladder admin.(Only problem with this is that if they know how to use them correctly they can turn them on or off, before the screenshot).
You can use the "dumpuser" command to see what skins people are using.

I agree its good to be aware of whats out there, but using them in a ladder match is completely sh%tty. I am pretty sure that I have been a victim of a few different clans that have used "hacks and cheats" during a match. Unfortunatley it's hard to prove and skilled player seem like they are cheating but they aren't.

sv_pure doesnt even work, and the only suggestion would be dumpuser, but cheaters wouldnt have it on before a match during the SS/deadround. The wait and put them on later, because who would doa dumpuser during the round? Anyway thats not the point having bright skins is a cheat but doesnt help anticipating they are around the corner. Skilled players anticipate something at every bend.

sv_pure doesn't work yet.. EALA is on top of it, it should be functioning in the first patch due within a month. And FYI.. A member of {IH} has an EALA ICQ contact. And this contact is eager to destroy cheats as they surface..

EALA may be incorporating an anonymous cheat report site soon.

EALA plans to stay on top of Spearhead.. If "resources allow it"..
