There IS something on ASE Forums but the "fix" is hardly a "fix", rather a cross your fingers and hope you get a nibble. Basically you just need to edit the "filters" section of the TXT in the ASE folder, and it will provide you with a SH icon, that SHOULD pick up the SH servers AFTER you refresh the AA folder - because for some reason, even though the servers arent LISTED, it is still getting some SH server. SO. Refresh the AA servers and refresh often and save into favorites often.

As I said its no kind of fix. What I recommend is using the in-game browser, or just finding a few servers that you like until the game picks up more, and people switch over from MOH:AA, to MOH:SH.

You can go to the EA forum and add your name to the petition to get them to allow ASE to support Spearhead.

Actually not true. I was at the release party in IRC, and they had said they had shipped an email off the to the designers of ASE for support for SH. If this is true or not beats me.

But its funny because during this release party, alot of people got to ask questions... one of the OGL admins had asked and inquired about enabling demo recording a feature of the quake 3 engine... and they awnsered him like he was nuts and there was no such thing....

Go figure. oOo:

If you want to take a look of some of the transcript, it's here: http://www.worldogl.com/forum/showthrea ... adid=14305

I dunno where the rest is, if I find it, I'll be sure to pass it on. biggrin:

I may be wrong, but my understanding is they were going to block BF42 on ASE also until enough people yelled about it.

GameSpy has deep pockets.

Get used to games being released and only supported by GameSpy.
