Gams will NOT have graphics as good as toy story, tech demo's yes but graphically games aren't gonna make a quantum leap just because nvidia have FINALLY managed to finish their much bullshitted about card 4 months or so late. The best graphics ive seen so far on pc are doom 3 and even thats a long way of being toy story standard graphics.

Just because it has dx9 funcionality doesn't = uber graphics all of a sudden. The 9700 has dx9 features and was the first card to have them but directx 9 isn't even out yet. By the time dx 9 does come out AND developers start coding games for it the nv-30 and radeon-9700 will have been long since superceded.

Both the nv-30 and the radeon 9700 didn't really need dx 9 support at all. Its basically another check mark they can put on the box so they can list it as a feature.

ATI all the way happy:

why? because its canadian. and if it wasnt for ATI all you geforce lovers would be paying twice as much for your crappy cards, and why does nvidia have too release so many different cards?, like the geforce4 has so many different kinds like the mx the ti and the numbers ooooooohh the numbers....

I wouldn't buy either. Video Cards SHOULD NOT cost more than the CPU.

Hold down alt, type 0164 on the numberpad.

Or Start Menu -> Run

type [code:38fe9]%SystemRoot%\System32\charmap.exe[/code:38fe9] and hit enter.

Then look for it, click it, press select, and press copy.
