Ya mean nintendo beat themselves in one respect. Heres what i mean

Remember the days of the snes and the genesis. Well sega released the cd drive addon for the genesis and nintendo were going to do the same. Nintendo and sony were working together for the addon to the snes but halfway through the project nintendo seen how much of a joke segas cd addon was and decided to terminate their cd drive project and start work on the next gen n64 instead.

Sony however continued work on the cd drive addon and succesfully turned it into a standalone machine and dubbed it the playstation.

So when you see these facts come together sony wouldn't even have a console if it werem't for nintendo collaberating with sony for the snes cdrom drive.

Well i dont really agree with that. The xbox may have better graphics capabilities but so far i havn't seen anything of the xbox thats even half as good as rogue squadron 2 pics (except for microshafts doctored pics). I have to say that the playstation 2 isn't all that it supposed to be either. Basically its a beefed u playstation and nothing more.

Specs wise the ps2 compared to pc's is about 2 years old and the ps2 even struggles to run quake 3 on some occasions where i have seen a few bots on screen the game chugs noticibly.

Basically sony released an over hyped under specced machine and it wont last as long as the original thats for sure.

They are both good in there own way, most stuff for x box is gonna come out for the computer anyway, so its just a amtter of choice.

And i know about the new zelda and all zelda fans are really pissed for what they did. And Nintendo doest release pictures of there games thats why luigi and others looks like shit. Microsoft takes pics off the computer so xbox is running at 1024 x 786 and they still look crap.

THe only way i could say getting a xbox is good is if you dont have a dvd player or a good computer. I want gamecube for its amazing software and best gameplay games. Computer all ready has the best realistic games so why buy 2 of the same stuff? thats why i want gamecube. Im not saying xbox is crap becuase it is good but theres no reason of getting it since your using a computer right now. Why would u play those first persons on xbox?

I hate FPS on consoles cause of controllers but i do like golden eye and red faction, And in my opinion i think gamecube is better than x box to.....But i think PS2 owns

gamecube is better becuase its different. Xbox is just a crap computer. Its worse then todays average computers and you have to play those amazing COMPUTER GAMES on that ugly huge bubble controller.

Ps2 is good as well but i dont like the graphics and there isnt alot of games becuase of ps2's programming (it will die soon)
