Default Admin control your servers - 11-19-2002, 06:51 AM

I really like the voting system but I seen something that may make it bad. I was on a server last night that was sort of empty. A group from a clan started coming in, which I have no problems with. But as soon as they had the numbers they started changing the settings. Still not something I have a problem with. But after they got all the setting set that they wanted I see this message come up " We are going to start kicking you all so we can practice". Then all of sudden here comes the "vote to kick" One by one each of us was kicked out of the server so that this other clan " that did not own the server" could practice. They kicked out all but those who where in the clan. I know the owner of the server and took screen shots to send to him of this but just wanted to let you other admin know what may be going on while you are away.

Funniest thing about this was I waited few minutes and changed my name and added the clan tag that owns it and went back in. After a minute or two I see this message " XXXXX do you have rcon control?" I said no and I see this " lol, good" followed by a vote kick to kick me.

FYI, someone will be posting real soon on how to have voting control for server admins only.

Keep an eye out over at http://www.MOHadmin.com

This way you can disable voting and have just your game server admins call votes or, you can customize what people can and can not vote on.
