It seems that many people do not like gamespy and act like they have shares in ASE. Which Gamespy don't you like ? There is Gamespy Arcade and there is Gamespy 3d. These are two completely different creatures. I use Gamespy 3d and don't really see a big difference between it and ASE. It just seems that peoples opinions are overly strong on which server browser you are using. I personally don't really care which one you use. There just seems to be a non trivial amount of Gamespy bashing going on here yet no specifics of which gamespy they are bashing. I personally think Gamespy 3d rocks.

I think it's more of letting us choose what browser we use. We don't want to be force fed something we do not like, in general.

We tend to say GS but that's like killing the messenger, I am more upset towards EA for not thinking in the first place.

I for one would rather use ASE and respect the people who happen to like GS. I just want a choice.

I have used GS ( both ) and find it too AOLish. This is just my personal opinion.

thats a good way to describe it, but GS is alright, gamespy arcade that is
