Anyone ever read an artical about an attempted assasination on hitler.
Apparently he was sometimes nicknamed "the carpet licker" as he was always shouting at everyone.
The part about him being a carpet licker was mis-interpreted in a coded message and the allies sent in a spy who sneaked into hitlers office and coated a rug with cyanide.
needless to say hitler never died from cynaide poisoning.

I find this thing hard to beleive but who knows, there was a war going on and they might have tried everything.....
