I mention this here in case anyone hates unnecessary crap on their screen as much as I do.

I proudly introduce Kleen Screen 3™.

MISCELANEOUS

[img]http://control-alt-delete.ca/mohaa/ks/clip_flak.jpg[/img] is GONE (you can hear the reload anyway)

[img]http://control-alt-delete.ca/mohaa/ks/clip_aa_gun.jpg[/img] and [img]http://control-alt-delete.ca/mohaa/ks/red_mask.jpg[/img] is GONE (you can hear it powering up anyway)

ALSO gone is the "weapon health meter" So in effect...

ALSO note (above) that the text size is reduced by 50%. This effects ALL in game text that uses this font. (ie: chat, join/depart/death messages...timelimit....score..etc. etc.)

The health bar has text REMOVED, the bar narrowed, and shifted further left. (see below)

tried it. it doesnt work. but kleenscreen v2, which i've alawys used, works well.

Why would you want to remove the compass? In single player it points to your objectives. In multiplayer it points to the nearest objective (if TOW) and also displays where all your teamates are. Not to mention the obivous direction you're heading. It's such an important tool, IMO.

It's aimed at MP not SP.....if you can't find the TOW/OBJ after zillion times playing it.....you've got larger problems than a simple lack of compass.

Like I said.... custom variations I'm willing to do....

I'd take it.
With a few mods. I already made one myself, but don't like it much, But here's what I want, better to have you make it

Take the black border off from the text. (Its in the urc) outlined text 0

And put the compass back in.

i dont see the point in this.

wouldnt it be much more usefull to just bind a key to toggle ui_hud so that if the player does need anything from the hud they are able to switch it on/off ?

once your mod is installed is there any was for the player to see this info such as compass readings etc ?

r3mix. Using that command also kills the crosshair. Not cool.
