Mit der Waffenniederlegung im November 1918 wurde eine Politik eingeleitet, die nach menschlicher Voraussicht langsam zur vollständigen Unterwerfung führen mußte. Geschichtliche Beispiele ähnlicher Art zeigen, daß Völker, die erst ohne zwingende Gründe die Waffen strecken, in der Folgezeit lieber die größten Demütigungen und Erpressungen hinnehmen, als durch einen erneuten Appell an die Gewalt eine Änderung ihres Schicksals zu versuchen.

Dies ist menschlich erklärlich. Ein kluger Sieger wird seine Forderungen, wenn möglich, immer in Teilen dem Besiegten auferlegen. Er darf dann bei einem charakterlos gewordenen Volk — und dies ist ein jedes sich freiwillig unterwerfende — damit rechnen, daß es in jeder dieser Einzelunterdrückungen keinen genügenden Grund mehr empfindet, um noch einmal zur Waffe zu greifen. Je mehr Erpressungen aber auf solche Art willig angenommen werden, um so ungerechtfertigter erscheint es dann den Menschen, wegen einer neuen, scheinbar einzelnen, aber allerdings immer wiederkehrenden Bedrückung sich endlich doch zur Wehr zu setzen, besonders wenn man, alles zusammengerechnet, ohnehin schon so viel mehr und größeres Unglück schweigend und duldend ertrug.

Karthagos Untergang ist die schrecklichste Darstellung einer solchen langsamen selbstverschuldeten Hinrichtung eines Volkes.

i don't see how it can be a bug, EA wrote the tik files obviously if they wanted pistols to be inaccurate they would have made them that way.

that gun the mg44 is so dman gay...its the ultamate noober gun.....shoots fast and is dealy accuarate if u stay still....wich noobs tend to do....i dont know that manyt good players that use that gun...personally....i hate em

It seems however, that depending on the mod (it aint a mod is it, cause it shipped with the game and all) the accuracy of the auto-weapons changes. In what I would call *classic* mode, the SMG and the MG dont seem to be as accurate, and the rifles are 1 shot 1 kill. While in the *realism* mode, the SMG and MG are more accurate, and the rifles less lethal.

Eh, maybe I'm just tired.

listening to Powerslave at work right now. Mgs are the weapon of choice in Realism. They pwn. Accurate and pack a punch. Not many people use them in stock though, atleast not on =KaoS= server. We tend to get the smg/shotgun crowd. Although an amazing phenomena is sweeping our server as of late. Rifles are being used in abundant amounts, especially on our Spearhead server. Crazy Boris and Nagant Rifle pwn j00...we like to make our server "Rifle Only" a few times a week as well...
