A good program to make screenshots is FRAPS. It does a couple of things. First it will show you the FPS in any corner of the screen you want (easy to read). Secondly, you can select any key to take your screenies with. It then displays your screenshots in the Fraps folder. It displays them like pictures in your "MY Pictures" folder (It's easy to see what you took). The only drawback is that they are saved as Bitmaps.
