The guy also had an SS uniform with him. I don't know if it was real though. He also had tons of German, Soviet, and Polish medals. They were real for sure.

It was mostly the eastern front and Polish medals from the western front, like Monte Casino. The guy wanted $150 for the Monte Casino medal.

unfortunatly there are a lot of dip-shits out there that will sell you stuff that they say is real, but is just some swedish bull-shit with some reprodution patches sewn on. A REAL SS tunic in good condition would run between $1500 and $5000 USD depending on rarity (branch, unit,

So I was at the flea market today and I saw two German helmets. One was $250 dollars but was old and rusted a little. The guy said it was used by the Luftwaffe. The other helmet had a Waffen SS symbol on one side and a swastika on the other side, it looked like it was never used and it cost $120. Well, the thing I want to know is that how can I tell between an authentic helmet and a replica? I'm thinking of buying one just for the hell of it. Mostly collection purposes. So Burgen and Waffenampt, show off your mojo and preach on!
My friend in Holland found A LOT of stuff from battlefields and found for me, a German helmet with the liner ( rusted and the liner was falling apart )
I wouldnt wear it for re-enacting purposes , but at least I know its the REAL thing
Im going to post a few pictures of it when I get it from him.
