Hey man I just finished that beast, and it really kicks ass cool: , especially for a display model and the working suspension is cool. I'd say your GF is a keeper Oddball.

No the display version doesnt come with R/C parts, it just moves forward, so yeah you would have to buy any R/C parts seperate.

As for the difficulty, I found that it was fairly easy to put together, mainly due to the size of the parts, the suspension system is a little tricky but not to hard once you get going. The plastic parts fit together really well, the instructions are very easy to understand. Overall its a fun build and looks damn good when done.

Your girlfriend sucks. No pun intended.

If that's all you got for your birthday, you must be pretty pissed off. Hell, if I wanted that a BJ that bad, I'd just ask....I wouldn't wait for my frickin' B'day. biggrin:

Cool present. That models is pretty expensive I have been pricing it for years, but its too riche for my blood.

I build WWII models too and infact I am working on a couple of diaromas right now of DV and Algiers. I was gonna keep my geeky hobby to myself, but now that I see other people are into it. I will post some pics of my past diaromas, when I get my digital camera working again.
