And how!
I think the strongest points are it's historical accuracy and it's brilliant graphics and level design!

Personally i hate Operation flashpont. I had it a while back and didn't really like it. The graphics looked kinda weird, the character movement annoyed me and aiming was a pain in the ass.

quote:
Operation Flashpoint is a Huge game! its very very popular because of just all the cool military stuff in the game, every gamer knows about it, almost NO gamers know about MoH:AA

Erm no, PC gamer uk have done 2 or 3 big previews on MOH:AA in the last few months. It was one of the biggest games at E3 and ects. How do you then come to the conclusion that "almost no gamers know of moh"? If anything its probably a better known game than operation flashpoint because of the e3 attention it got and the magazine previews. The magazines have started putting the omaha vids onto their cover discs as well btw.
OH and BTW
A cruel but true fact

I gotta say, Hans, as trua as that is, you just don't insult the special olympics...i mean, thats like kicking someone in the balls when they're already down...
I liked Operation Flashpoint: The fact is, it accomplished everything so many people have been begging for for so long...it had huge open spaces, lots of realism, accurate and absolutely beautiful recreations of modern military tactics, and most of all, somehow they used all that and still made it fun...
But that's just *my* opinion...I know there were some downsides too...confusing, lasted too long in many missions, embarrassingly difficult at times, poor graphics really. But to be honest, i went into the game knowing that the game was going to have those flaws, and i had a blast playing it!
Just as i know i will with MOH:AA!!! Although with MOH:AA, i know i won't have those same flaws!!!

"Hans, i dont give a fuck if you get all pussy on me and tell me that im bossing you around or tell me how it hurts your feelings when i tell you this but...SHUT THE FUCK UP"
And I don't care how pissed you get at me, or how many times you tell me how I should feel so you can act like your opinions are valid. How about - YOU TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE, and SHUT THE FUCK UP? BTW, how would I go about getting all ‘Female sexual organ’ on you?
"you just repeated yourself like 5 times in that essay and didnt include some of my points that proved you wrong"
Didn't include points that proved me wrong? Such as?
"i dont give a fuck if u didnt know what a LAW was but u like using it, that means nothing, its a rocket launcher, who doesnt like blowing stuff up with it?"
You don’t "give a fuck" why? Because it's a point that shows your opinion does not apply to every situation? Again too f*cking bad.
"i dont care what u have to say"
Then stop replying. If you don't care about what I have to say, why come back to read it?
"i know that MOHAA wont be the best game ever, and for obvious reasons...im not even gunna get into, u can write another essay to this or do what u want, but im not replying to this thread ever again."
That's nice, goodbye.

Can you give me a reason why I should stop having opinions? Or is it just that YOU feel everyone should agree with you because you like it that way? I feel like expressing my opinions, and I am not going to stop just because you want me to. And what do you mean "all the time", I haven't got into an argument in months. How did you get "all the time" out of that?

And I disagree, I choose to express my opinion. You disagreed that this could be "the best game ever", and expressed why. Stop telling me not to do exactly what you are doing.

That has everything to do with it. You gave me an example of you friends not knowing anything about WW2, and not caring about MOH. I gave you an example of me not knowing anything about the "Cold War", and being interested in OP: Flashpoint. To show you that what happened in your example will not happen to everyone.

operation flashpoint is just a very well known military game, everyone likes it, they dont care what war it takes place in.

Give me a reason why this cannot happen to MOH:AA please.

Im sure that if someone knew nothing about WW2 but the basic idea of it, and nothing more, they wouldnt choose to buy MOH:AA over say a Half-Life game

Why do they need to know a great deal about WW2 to enjoy the game? It's not like they would have anymore then the same basic idea about the "Aliens invade research facility" theme.

It doesnt matter if you havent gotten into an argument for months, thats because u have barely talked for months, when u do talk it usually starts some fight, cuz your opinion is always the opposite. And another reason you should stop having opinions is because it starts flame wars, and u never give up on them either, even when youre wrong and you're always wrong because you post stupid opinions that start arguments and then you get proven wrong but u stil dont give up. And i dont care if ppl agree with me or not, i posted my opinion on why its not going to be the best game ever and it makes sense, most ppl dont know enough about WW2 to care about investing in a WW2 game. And

You arent doing exactly what im doing, i expressed my opinion on the topic, and it was truly what i feel, i didnt just post it to start a fight, you posted your opinion on my reply, its completely different, its what u always do, choose the opposite side of someones opinion on a another thing.

Operation Flashpoint is a Huge game! its very very popular because of just all the cool military stuff in the game, every gamer knows about it, almost NO gamers know about MoH:AA, if i go into a Counter-Strike game and mention MOHAA, no one will know what im talking about, if i mention OP:Flashpoint, they know exactly what im talking about, your example means nothing.

Aliens invading a research facility was nothing that realy happend, Half-Life is just a broader topic, it has fun military stuff, with killing aliens, killing scientist, and awesome graphics (well when it came out it did, it stil does..) and i said "A Half-Life Game" meaing any half-life game, like Counter-Strike or DoD or whatever..And ppl dont need to know a great deal about WW2 to like it, but they have to know about WW2 in order to want the game, because i know that if someone didnt know anything about WW2, they would just buy some other game. And u do need to know about WW2 to like it more, because if u didnt know shit about WW2, then it wouldnt be fun using all the weapons, and playing all the major battlesw, and killing certain enemies etc.

My point is that how easily people can just get pissed off on these forums for no reason on. Hans and KrautKiller go off on a rampage about who knows what. I first posted this way back in the begining of sept. and all of a sudden its back and people are yelling about some stupid shit.
