SH, SP, Berlin, those snipers -

Anyone notice that on the first Berlin level in single player Speahead, the enemy snipers can see through the rain/fog? I'm getting shot at by snipers that are twice the distance that I can see. They are shooting at me from 150-200 yards (guess) while I have to be within 75 yards to even see them.

just savor the time u have left on this less than adequate sp mode. while i enjoyed it, it was waay to short. about three hours worth. anyways, learn where the sniper fire is coming from, then take them out next time when u restart.

Chill, d00d.
I don't recall them shooting from that far away, where I could not see them.

Yeah it's weird. You know that tank that comes snaeking up the road behind you, that you have to stick bomb/shoot? Well right after that part, as soon as I came around the corner, constant sniper fire from all directions. I went on a couple death runs to see where the guys actually were, and one was WAY away, took me 10 seconds of running just to get in my visual range.

I don't have that problem. In fact, I can usually hit them long before they see me.

I just ran through that entire part. I didn't even bother trying to find those darn snipers. Hey, it worked for me.

Since it's obvious something is wrong, I'm gonna put on god mode and just walk through that part. Not very fair going up against snipers with godsight.

Cleaner from the 75th ABN posted a while back about weird fog problems depending on what graphic settings you use.
For some people if they use 16bit on both settings, they will have noticeably more fog than with other graphic settings.
This referred to MP gameplay but I would guess some people could have the same problem in SP.
I tested it out and couldn't see any difference. A friend tested and noticed a big difference in the amout of fog after he changed it to 16bit/32bit.
