Im on cable now, i host a server (10-12 guys), my adsl isp is havin some good x_mas promotions. Is it safe to switch? Could i still host servers? Is it worth the savings? Any input would be appreciated.

DSL is fast but i have never hosted on it cuz of the damned Firewall in my ISP mad:

ADSL can be better than Cable at times. DSL on the other hand. .. ehhh. ..I wouldn't touch. If they got a good deal going, it wouldn't hurt to try it my friend. You can always switch back if you arent satisified with the service.

i have 128k cable and i get around 20 as my average ping on games but ive never tried it using a host yet, if u have 64k cable now, id say only upgrade to 128k cable since it will be fast enough and you wont waste money. only my two cents.
