I talked to fugitive he said he made the lil filter modification but hey both of them might have discovered it.

And nevermind the NUMEROUS threads on ASE own forums covering this. Nice of you though to REITERATE what was - ding ding ding - already explained in another Thread there (thank god for the search function).

So, long story short, I'm sure young Vip did do some tinkering on his own, but so did countless other assholes (myself included - ) and we all came up with the same answer.

If he's trying to feel unique or special - tell him to get a gf, some porn, or develop a fetish of some sort. Fluffies is always interesting.

All i know is that there wasnt a working fix for sh before this one. i dont give a fuck if vip4ee got the filter.txt and fugitive got his filter to show sh servers from someone alse. the point is that now this fix works and everyone is happy. if it makes u happy here.

I am very sorry on the behalf of vip4ee and fugitive if people feel we stole their work to make this fix or if we angered anyone about any reason as a result of makin this fix for ase.

Ask for permission for a fix that nearly a BILLION people have figured out on their own? What kind of crap is that? All someone needs to do is make their own little filter, upload it to some shitty website, and bam - free access 24/7. Hell I could do that. I prefer the method that I (and the entire state of TEXAS) figured out how to do. The "filter" thing is only good for a PRETTY ICON (since it wont pick up ALL the servers).

Hey ED please do share before anyone else finds the tricks first. Unless u share your information with the people around you, none will recognize you as a brainiac. So unless you find something before anyone else finds it "take a hike". I have decided to share my wisdom but as usual someone comes and says they did it way before. In this case it is you. u claim it is yours oh well, all i wanted to do was to share with the world and do something about the "problem", we had with Spearhead and ASE, and ASE cannot do anything about it because i allready talked to the ASE maker and he cannot just get into GSA servers and make servers appear. But our fix should work fine, by that i do not recognize you as having any credit into it, so don't go off jumping 'round all happy now!!!

Ah and by the way don't get too many friends of yours to come here and claim that u really did something, cause you are "second hand claimer"!

Hey. It's great EcM made the screenshots about how to do this.
But if your smart enough to figure out how to do it. You should be smart enough to explain how ED copied your work 3 days before you even posted it.

Lol - the thing is, I think the ECM boys are the only ones claiming exclusive ownership here. I mean HOW FAR in advance of November 29th did we see the FILTER.TXT fix? Weeks? And then I posted how to create a "NEW" filter to go along with the .TXT fix.

NEVERMIND the fact that in the very same thread (which I posted since I know how much people hate the search function), Bazooka Joe pointed out that there were ALREADY threads about this same fix!
