Accually Koshi, in modern day tanks there is a round call a sabot. What it bassically is when its fired the shell casing disintergrates and all thats left flying is a 3ft depleted uranium arrow. When it hits its target the friction accutally melts armor. Which causes gas to ignite rounds to go off. It acually makes a fairly large explosion.

100 meters is almost the maximum range for nearly ever AT rifle out there. After 150-200 meters they were useless against any decently armored tank.

AT rifles were useless long range.

15mm of armor penetration is nothing. Most tanks, even in 1940 had 20-30mm at least. Again, I'll say it, AT rifles, were practically useless. But, if you don't want to belive me, that's ok.
