Default Altering Clipsize - 12-07-2002, 09:43 AM

Hello all,

In an attempt to create a realism mod, I had to change the PPSH clipsize to 71 rounds instead of 46, and the STEN has 32 bullets instead of 30. This change in clipsize must be accounted for in the ammo bar on the HUD. Changing the STEN's ammo bar to 32 bullets went without a problem, but the PPSH is giving me a hard time: I just can't seem to make it work.
Can anybody help me with this problem?

Thanks,
Fox

under the AMMO heading you should be able to change
clipsize 71

I made an equal weapons mod and changed the clip size like this and it worked for me.

That part does indeed change the actual clipsize of the weapon. However, you still have 46 bullets in the ammo bar in-game; and that is what I want to fix...I think it's a stupid sight to run around with 20.3 bullets left in a clip

Enjoy,
Fox

In the pk files under another folder like "projectile" or maybe the files listed above the tik files under models/weapons. It looks like some of those control how the clips are displayed. I had a similar problem with altering the grenades to over 6. the display still showed only 6. It might just be that EA designed a max # of ammo without setting dmflags for infinite ammo.
