Where is Malta map?

I installed the 2.11 patch which is supposed to add the map "mp_Malta_dm"
but if I try to start a server, it says "Invalid map in rotation" and if I try to join a net server running malta, I get kicked out to the menu room,...

Any ideas?

That's odd. It sounds like the game was patched incorrectly.

Check to make sure you have a file called "pak2.pk3" inside of your MOH\mainta\ folder. This is the files for Malta.

My advice would be to totally uninstall MOH and SH. Move your maps, mods and skins to a temp folder, then use this:

Last, install the V1.11 patch for MOH, and the 2.11 patch for SH, then boot MOH:SH, and see if Malta loads.

The Maltese Archipelago lies virtually in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea, some 93kms south of the Italian island of Sicily. Malta is just a few hours’ flying time from most mainland European cities and has excellent intercontinental connections.

well I checked the MOHAA\mainta\pak2.pk but I did not find the malta.bsp file anywhere. guess a re-install is in order.

Like quick said, I know someone ported the Malta from the demo, but I wouldn't use it, since it was a demo port, not retail. Who knows, it could work fine, but it could also contain a conflict.

Okay problem solved, the first update I ran called MOHAAS_20_to_211.exe
didn't seem to give me the pak3.pk3 but I was able to join 2.11 servers. So yesterday I got the same file from a different mirror and now I have the pak3 and the malta map I was missing. Dunno what happened, maybe the first updater was corrupt or something.
