AAN sever IP is
66.230.141.182
It's also running SHv2.11

I beleive your map is the only custom map running. They are running other stock AA maps on their spearhead server.

Got the same thing on the "Buzzbomb" on Snypes server . I mean a really bright sun coming from the Axis side of the map. It's the same map I had in for AA . The glare is so bad you can't see anything at all. Must be some kind of SH bug. It's not there if I play the map in AA. Gomer can verify this , he was there. Weird! Makes the map almost unplayable for the Allies.

No, RUNGSI, it's not a map. And I don't think it's server-side either. Like you, I don't see a sun on that map. Looks exactly as your screenshots look. Perhaps we could go over video settings and mods - I think it might be something of that nature.

well I have been on that server for about an hour waiting for the map to cycle..
Getting tierd.
Well its something wierd.

now I have played on other servers.
I dont see the sun.
But I do believe you.
Mark "oberstrumfuhrer" said he saw it once in a game.
we played tonight on the mob clan server. never saw it.

I will try and get on that server when its running the map..

as far as my video settings.. everything is maxed.

I use the GeForce2 mx400 and keep everything at medium for performance (I lag pretty bad otherwise). Perhaps it's a bug dealing with video drivers? Damned if I know, but I *do* know that it doesn't happen to everyone and that's my thought on why it's not server-side. I would even venture that it's something to do with maps, mods or skins on the client's computer.

BTW, just before you showed up we changed back to the default rotation which doesn't include your map. I think starting this weekend I'm going to run the custom rotation constantly from now on, but until now custom maps just meant leaving the server empty all the time.

I'm running a new install of MOH and SH
The only map I have loaded at this time is your Thunder2 map.

I run at 1200x1600 32 bit color.

Will check more settings later tonight.

With or without the sun, this map is still one of the best I have played.

I still say it's haunted or it could be my box that's haunted ed:

Well to use some logic here, I think it has to be server side. When we play the map on AAN we ALL have the glare. It doesn't matter if your allied or axis if you look in the direction there is glare.

Actually, Shakes, the only time I've played it was on the AAN server, and no sun. And Rungsi also played it on AAN the other night (not last night, but the night before).

Well when someone figures it out DON'T tell Hollywood. We all need every advantage we can get when he's on the server.

I'm sorry Shakes, from now on I'll play blind folded and use the force swordfight: . I'm not a big fan of sniper maps like that, I prefer closer combat. So I don't play well on Thunder II because I get fustrated and impatient, so I just end up running out in the open and getting picked off biggrin:

ah, Thunder isnt all sniper..
I never use sniper rifles.

anyway, thanks guys for all your feedback.
It has to be some setting from another map or something.
Got to be. the map itself does not have sun added.

But I am happy you all enjoy the map.
For you Hollywood. My next map will be little tighter.

Y'know... speaking of your next map... I'm sure the entire AAN group would agree that we'd love to be play testers for your creations. Just let us know the next time you've got a map coming and we'll give it a test for ya and help you iron out the bugs.
